TRADE:

Trade means buying and selling of goods.

The person who buys and sells is called a trader.

A trader acts as a middleman between producer and consumer.

Types of trade:

• Wholesale trade: Buys in bulk from producers and sells to retailers.

• Retail trade: Buys from wholesalers/producers and sells to consumers.
