Examples: muscle cells, nerve cells, blood cells.
Tissues
Tissues are groups of similar cells working together to perform a specific function.
Four main types in animals:
Epithelial tissue: covers surfaces, lines organs.
Connective tissue: supports and binds (bone, blood, cartilage).
Muscle tissue: enables movement.
Nervous tissue: transmits signals.
Organs
Organs are structures made of different tissues working together for a specific function.
Examples:
Heart: pumps blood.
Lungs: exchange oxygen and carbon dioxide.
Brain: controls body activities.
Stomach: digests food.
