2. Paw - some puppies

   A mother dog gives to a litter of many babies at once. Baby dogs are called puppies. there are usually 5 or 6 puppies in a litter. Puppies cannot open their eyes until 10 days after birth. Puppies sleep a lot. Puppies are very social and love to play

Dogs are omnivores. They eat vegetables, grains, and meat. Some human food is bad for dogs.

Dogs cannot eat chocolate, almonds, and garlic.
