അപ്പു ഒരു നല്ല കുട്ടിയായിരുന്നു. ഒരു ദിവസം അപ്പു വഴിയിൽ ഒരു ചെറിയ പക്ഷിയെ കണ്ടു. പക്ഷിയുടെ ചിറകിന് പരിക്കേറ്റിരുന്നു. അപ്പു പക്ഷിയെ വീട്ടിലേക്ക് കൊണ്ടുപോയി. അവൻ പക്ഷിക്ക് വെള്ളവും ഭക്ഷണവും നൽകി. കുറച്ച് ദിവസങ്ങൾക്ക് ശേഷം പക്ഷി സുഖമായി പറന്നു പോയി. അപ്പുവിന് വളരെ സന്തോഷമായി.
