Blood clotting
Blood clotting stops bleeding when you get a cut or scrape.
Platelets ( tiny cells in the blood) gather at the injured spot.
Clotting proteins make a net of fibers called fibrins to hold the platelets together.
The blood clot covers the wound and prevents too much blood from flowing out
As the wound heals , the clot dries into a scab which later falls off when the skin repaired
