Heat and Heat transfer
Heat is vibration where it travels from the hotter region to the colder region.
Heat transfer is heat going from one thing to another.
There are three types of heat transfer
Conduction, Convection, Radiation.
Conduction
Conduction is when a particle starts to vibrate when heat reaches it and the particle bumps another particle the bumps the other particles until its fully heated.
Convection
A Gas and a Liquid is called a fluid.
Heat is transported through the movement of fluids.
It happens when warm fluids rises while cold fluids sinks.
Radiation
Heat is transported through electromagnetic waves.
It can also occur through a vacuum (space).
Key points
Heat always flows from hot to cold.
The si unit of heat is joule.
