Magnets
Magnets are objects that produce an invisible magnetic field which attracts to each other.
A magnet has 2 poles one is north one is south when you keep a north and a south it will attract but if you keep a north and a north or a south and a south it won't attract it will repel meaning it will go far from each other, and attract means they come together.
Types of Magnets:
Permanent Magnets: Materials like steel or neodymium that keep their magnetism for a long time without needing external power (e.g., refrigerator magnets).
Temporary Magnets: Materials like soft iron that become magnetic only when near a strong magnetic field and lose it once removed.
Electromagnets: Magnets created by passing an electric current through a coil of wire. They can be turned on and off, making them useful for cranes, speakers, and MRI machines
What makes the south and north poles of the magnet different? Aren’t they just sides of the magnet?
