Heat - is a form of energy that is released when fuels undergo combustion.
Fuel - is a substance containing stored chemical energy that can be readily released to produce useful heat or power.
Wood - A solid, natural biomass fuel.
Coal, oil and gas - These are all fossil fuels, formed over millions of years from the buried remains of organic matter. They have a high carbon content and are a primary source of energy for human activities, including power generation and heating.
