The starry skies

  • At night if there are no clouds you can see bright spots in the sky at night.

  • The stars appear to move across the sky during the night, from east to west.

Thermal energy

i something heat’s up it get hot we call that thermal energy.

The hotter the object is the more thermal energy it has (hotter=more thermal energy).

Thermal energy escaping.

a battery can store it’s energy for years petrol can store it’s energy for millions of years but thermal energy is not like that is that the thermal energy goes to it’s surroundings exaple is you go near fire you will feel hot because the thermal energy goes to it’s sorroundings.

Fun fact

MARS - LHB

After the formation of the planets, the inner Solar System may have been subjected to the so-called Late Heavy Bombardment. About 60% of the surface of Mars shows a record of impacts from that era, whereas much of the remaining surface is probably underlain by immense impact basins caused by those events. There is proof of a huge crater in northern Mars, about 10,600 km by 8,500 km, nearly four times bigger than the Moon’s largest crater. Scientists think it formed 4 billion years ago when a Pluto-sized object hit Mars. This crash may have made the north smoother, creating the Borealis basin, which covers 40% of the planet.

Mars : Formation

Scientists have theorized that during the Solar System's formation, Mars was created as the result of a random process of run-away accretion of material from the protoplanetary disk that orbited the Sun. Mars has many distinctive chemical features caused by its position in the Solar System. Elements with comparatively low boiling points, such as chlorine, phosphorus, and sulfur, are much more common on Mars than on Earth; these elements were probably pushed outward by the young Sun's energetic solar wind.

Newton’s Law of Motion

  1. First Law - if an object keeps moving it keeps moving. It is called inertia.

  2. Second Law - If you increase the mass you have to increase the force to make a bigger acceleration. The equation is Force is equal to mass multiplied by acceleration.

  3. Third Law - if there is a action there is a reaction. Every action has an equal and opposite reaction.
