A reminder

Snagging onto the hall of boredom I realized nothing could be done to entertain me in such a situation. "No electricity for 2 months, a solar maximum outburst, use the solar vacuum to protect your belongings." This advertisement was all over the newspaper. Never imagined such a day would come as if a zombie apocalypse without the zombies is what we were going through. Innovations and developments over thousands of years played backward as the basic, fundamental support of today collapsed, electricity: no more phones, no more laptops, no more craze towards the mouth-watering addiction of the internet.

Reclined on the bed, I wondered "What on earth am I supposed to do for the next two months? perhaps" I again got lost in the world of dull-witted thoughts. "Maybe this universe doesn't like earth, Maybe the sun doesn't like earth, or what is the earth itself doesn't like us, so it purposefully lets its guard down so that we, humans alone suffer." I was not the person I was a week before, a crazy anime and game addict, who plays cod with his only friend Eshaaan. Right now, I am a different person, a person who doesn't play games or watch anime, a person who, whenever free, thinks about everything happening around him. Perhaps the earth was fed up with humans being selfish empty and narrow-minded, for not showing any concern towards anything, always clinging onto the rectangular box of addiction, which is even worse than natural drugs. Perhaps the earth had no choice but to make a harsh decision.

"Wow, staying in a house and not even caring if the house is going to collapse is what we humans are doing right now, it would make absolutely no sense if we were to complain after the house collapsed, maybe this solar maximum is more of a reminding notification rather than a crisis." I kept wondering, as I suddenly remembered the guy named Eshaaan, not a virtual version, but the actual being, almost as if our friendship was never over the radiating screen.
