  • 7 = neutral.

  • 8 to 14 = alkali.

Find pH using litmus paper, universal indicator paper or a pH meter that shows the exact number.


Fun Fact

Rainwater is naturally slightly acidic with a pH around 5.6 because it absorbs carbon dioxide from the air.
