Acid rain

Acid rain is dirty rain that can hurt nature.

It happens when smoke from cars and factories goes into the sky. The smoke mixes with clouds. Then it rains, but the rain has acid in it.

This kind of rain can hurt trees, plants, animals, and even buildings.

It is called “acid rain” because it is a little bit like acid, which can burn or damage things.

1.Acid rain looks just like normal rain. It is clear and you can’t see any difference. The bad stuff is inside the rain, not in its color.

2.Acid rain can happen in any country. It happens when pollution from things like factories and cars mixes with rain. So, places with more pollution have more acid rain, but it can fall almost anywhere.

3.People stop acid rain by making rules to cut pollution from cars and factories. They use clean energy like wind and sun instead of dirty fuels. Machines can catch bad gases before they get into the air. Planting trees also helps clean the air.

4.Acid rain can hurt things that are not alive, like statues and cars. It can make them dirty, cause the paint to peel, and slowly wear them down.

5.Animals need clean rain to stay healthy. Dirty or acidic rain can harm the water and plants they eat, making it hard for them to live and grow.

6.Trees cannot grow well if there is too much acid rain. Acid rain hurts their roots and takes away the nutrients they need, making them weak and unhealthy.
