Matter means everything around us.
It can be solid, liquid, or gas.
The states of matter can also change.
1. Solid.
Has shape of its own.
Particles are very close and tightly packed.
They cannot move freely, only vibrate.
2. Liquid.
No fixed shape.
Takes the shape of the container.
Particles are close but can move.
3. Gas.
No fixed shape.
Spreads out to fill any space.
Particles are far apart.
