Alkalis are everywhere
Many cleaning products contain alkali.
Sodium hydroxide is a strong alkali.
Strong alkalis are dangerous. They are corrosive.
If strong alkali gets on your skin, it dissolves your skin.
Alkalis can be diluted with water. This makes them less dangerous.
