Physical quantities and measurement techniques
Physical Quantities (5 lines)
Physical quantities are properties that can be measured.
Examples: length, mass, time, temperature, current.
They are of two types: fundamental and derived.
Fundamental are basic, derived are made from them.
Each has a standard unit in the SI system.
Measurement Techniques (5 lines)
Length is measured using ruler, vernier caliper, or screw gauge.
Mass is measured with balance or spring balance.
Time is measured using clocks or stopwatches.
Temperature is measured with thermometers.
Current and voltage are measured with ammeter and voltmeter.
