It does not depend on gravity.
Example: A stone has the same mass on Earth and the Moon.
Weight
Weight is the force of gravity on an object’s mass.
It can change depending on gravity.
Weight is measured in newtons (N).
Formula: Weight = Mass × Gravity.
Example: The same stone weighs less on the Moon than on Earth.
