Seeing forces
Definition:
Seeing forces means observing the effects of a force on objects, even though the force itself cannot be seen.
Main details:
A force is a push or a pull. Forces can make objects move, stop, change speed, change direction, or change shape. We know a force is acting when we notice these changes. Forces can be contact forces (touching) or non-contact forces (without touching).
Examples:
Wind moving leaves
A ball rolling after a kick
A magnet pulling iron
A bicycle stopping with brakes
Stretching a rubber band
5 points:
Forces cannot be seen directly
Forces can start or stop movement
Forces can change speed

Forces can change shape
Fun fact:
You cannot see gravity, but you can see its effect every time something falls to the ground!
