  • The joints is a place where two bones meet.

  • We have two main types of joints in our body.

  • Fixed joints and moveable joints.

  • The skull has fixed joint in the cranium.

  • The cranium is made up of several bones together.

  • This helps the cranium to protect the brain.

  • The jow bone is joined to the rest of the skull by moveable joint.

    Ans: the gap in the skull are called fontenelles, and make but easier.

    2. How are the joints moveable?

    Ans: moveable join can move freely because synovial fluid reduces friction between bones.

    3. What is cranium?

    Ans: the cranium is the upper part of the skull that protect the brain.
