Food Chain
Food chain - Describes how different organisms eat other for survival . The food chain usually starts with a plant and ends with an animal . The food chain comprises of the producers , consumers and decomposers :
Plants - Producers
Animals - consumers
Primary consumers = herbivores or secondary consumers eat other animals .
Secondary consumers - carnivores
If carnivores eats another carnivore , it is called a tertiary consumer , Some animals play both roles like crows . They are called omnivores.
Decomposers - Bacteria and fungi are decomposers. They are also called detritivores.
Fun fact
Humans - are at the end of the food chain.
A food web is a natural interconnection of different food chain - Tropic pyramid . Every living thing needs energy to live and this energy is found in the food they eat. Living things are situated in various levels of food chain depending on what they eat .
Primary producers - They can make their own foods like plants.
Plants - Make their own food by photosynthesis.
photosynthesis - is the process of consuming sun’s energy, water and nutrients.
Consumers - are all living things that feeds on other living things .
Primary consumers - herbivores liike zebras , elephants…
Secondary consumers - the animals that feed on another animals - carnivores they eat meat like lion , tigers ..
Also omnivores are secondary consumers .
Omnivores - they eat meat and vegetables and fruits . They are the combinations of herbivores and carnivores . Like monkeys , pigs and humans . Tertiary consumers - scavengers like vultures witch eats other dead animals .
Decomposers - bacteria and fungi.

BUT I know about food chain I have studied in 2nd🤣
