5 kingdom of organisms .
š± what is a kingdom?
a kingdomĀ is a big group scientists made to sort all living things.every plant, animal, fungus, and tiny germ belongs to oneĀ of these five kingdoms.they are grouped by how they eat, grow, and build their body.
š¦ 1. Monera ā the first life
these are tiny single-celledĀ beings ā the oldestĀ life on Earth.they have no nucleusĀ (so their DNA just floats around).they live everywhereĀ ā in soil, hot springs, even inside you.
examples: bacteria, cyanobacteriaĀ (blue-green algae).
they:
can make their own foodĀ or eat waste.
help us digest, make curd, and recycle dead things.
š§ monerans are the ancient buildersĀ of life ā the first spark of biology.
š§« 2. Protista ā the in-between creatures
these are also single cells, but a little more advanced.they have a true nucleusĀ that holds their DNA neatly.they live mostly in water.
examples: amoeba, paramecium, euglena.
they:
move using small parts like ciliaĀ (tiny hairs) or flagellaĀ (tails).
some eatĀ like animals, some make foodĀ like plants.
š§ protists are like tiny modelsĀ of higher life ā testing what works best.
š 3. Fungi ā the recyclers
they canāt make food.they absorbĀ nutrients from dead plants, animals, or other living things.their body is made of fine threads called hyphae.
examples: mushroom, yeast, mold.
they:
help decomposeĀ waste into soil.
make bread riseĀ and antibioticsĀ like penicillin.
š§ fungi are Earthās clean-up crewĀ ā turning death into new life.
š³ 4. Plantae ā the green makers
plants are multicellularĀ ā made of many cells.they have chlorophyllĀ in their cells, which traps sunlightĀ to make food.this process is called photosynthesis.
examples: grass, trees, flowers, mosses.
they:
make oxygenĀ and foodĀ for all other life.
have roots, stems, and leaves for absorbing and storing energy.
š§ plants are Earthās energy factoriesĀ ā turning sunlight into life fuel.
š 5. Animalia ā the eaters and movers
animals are also multicellular, but they canāt make food.they must eat plants or other animalsĀ to get energy.they have organs and nervous systemsĀ to sense and move.
examples: insects, fish, birds, reptiles, humans.
they:
move, hunt, think, and protect themselves.
depend on plants and fungi for survival.
š§ animals are Earthās explorersĀ ā using the energy made by plants.
š deep truth of life
life began simple ā one cell, no nucleus.then slowly, it learned new tricks:Monera ā Protista ā Fungi ā Plantae ā Animalia.each step made life smarter, bigger, and more connected.
