What is force and Gravity ?

⚙️ What is Force?

In simple words, a force is a push or a pull . it is the reason things move, stop, speed up, or change direction.

Every movement we see — a bird flapping its wings, a car speeding on the road, or a rocket rising into the sky — happens because some force is acting.

Scientifically, force is what changes the motion of an object . it can make something start moving, stop moving, or change its speed.

The great scientist Sir Isaac Newton explained this in his famous Laws of Motion. He said, “An object will stay at rest or keep moving in a straight line unless a force acts upon it.”

That means — without force, nothing in the universe would ever change its motion.

🌍 What is Gravity?

Now, among all the forces in nature — like magnetism and electricity — there is one that affects every object, everywhere, all the time. That force is called gravity.

Gravity is the invisible pull that attracts any two objects with mass towards each other . I

t’s the reason why a ball falls to the ground, why the Moon orbits the Earth, and why we stay standing instead of floating away into space.

Every object, from a tiny pebble to a giant planet, has gravity. But the bigger and heavier the object, the stronger its pull.

The Earth’s gravity is strong enough to hold the air we breathe, the oceans we sail, and even satellites that circle our planet.

🧠 In simple scientific terms:

  • Force makes things move or stop.

  • Gravity is a special kind of force that always pulls things together — never pushes them apart.

🌌 Why it matters

Without gravity, there would be no stars, no planets, no people — because gravity is the glue of the universe. it pulls gas together to form stars, keeps planets in orbit, and gives us weight on Earth.

So, every time you drop something, jump, or simply walk, remember — you are working with one of the universe’s oldest and most constant forces.
