Definition
Resistors are passive two-terminal electrical components that control the flow of electric current in an electronic circuit. They are like tiny speed bumps on a highway for electrons, making them take a little longer to get from point A to point B. This resistance is measured in ohms (Ω), and the higher the resistance, the more difficult it is for electrons to flow.
