• Cells work together in groups to form tissues and organs.

• There are two kinds of cells: prokaryotic (simple) and eukaryotic (complex).

• Plant cells and animal cells are both eukaryotic but not exactly the same.

• Cells are always active, even when you're resting or asleep.

• Without cells, no living thing could exist.
