• Temperature is the measurement of how hot or cold an object is

• A thermometer can show the temperature of an object by the transfer of energy

• When a object is hot then the thermometer absorbs the energy from the energy

• When the object is cold then the thermometer transfers its energy to the object

• The thermometer shows the temperature of the object by the transfer of energy, but how ?

• The tip of the thermometer has liquid stored within it, this makes the liquid react to the temperature making the thermometer detecting the temperature

• The internal energy is total energy of the particles

Scale Of Celsius

• 0 Degree is the melting point of an object

• 100 Degree is the boiling point of the object

Kelvin Temperature Scale

• Kelvin temperature scale is about knowing the energy of the atoms

• 0 Kelvin results to -273 degree, this is because less energy results to melting of an object while more energy is heating of a object

• 1 Kelvin = 1 Degree Celsius
