The Venus fly trap is a plant that eats bugs. It eats things like flies , beetles , ants , spiders and tiny crickets. But they don't eat people , big bugs or human food like meat or candy plants don't like it. it's real name is Dionaea muscipula. It is found in the wild. places like north and south Carolina. It likes to live in places like swamps. Because it likes wet and sunny places. It has tiny hairs so when a bug goes inside the Venus fly trap it closes the hairs trigger it to close. The Venus fly trap is carnivorous which means it only eats animal products.
