The Thylacine also known as the Tasmanian tiger or Tasmanian wolf was a carnivores animal that looked like a dog with stripes. It ate animals smaller then it like birds. They lived in Australia mostly in Tasmania. they are now extinct but scientists are planning to bring them back. they lived in the wild but were kept in zoos like Hobart zoo where the last Thylacine died in September 7 1936. The Thylacines went extinct because the Tasmanian government was paying people to kill them because they were eating the birds. Thylacines are like kangaroos they spend there first few weeks in there mothers pouch. The Thylacines were the size of an medium dog. They lived in forests, grasslands and wetlands.
