There are 4 main types of teeth:
Incisors – Front teeth (used for cutting).
Canines – Pointy teeth (used for tearing).
Premolars – Next to canines (used for crushing).
Molars – Back teeth (used for grinding).
Teeth help you chew and break down food.
They also help you talk clearly.
Teeth give shape to your face and jaw.
Humans have 4 types: incisors, canines, premolars, molars.
Incisors cut food (front teeth).
Canines tear food (pointy ones).
Premolars crush food (next to canines).
Molars grind food (back teeth).
Adults usually have 32 teeth, kids have 20 baby teeth.
Teeth are made of enamel, dentin, pulp, and cementum.
Enamel is the hardest thing in your body (outer part of teeth).
Cavities happen when bacteria eat away enamel.
Brushing and flossing keeps teeth healthy.
