1. The Sun
A big star in the center.
Gives light and heat.
Controls the orbits of all planets with its gravity.
2. 8 Planets
In order from the Sun:
Mercury – Smallest, closest to the Sun.
Venus – Very hot, thick atmosphere.
Earth – Our planet, has life.
Mars – Red planet, has dust storms.
Jupiter – Largest planet, gas giant.
Saturn – Known for its rings.
Uranus – Icy and rotates on its side.
Neptune – Very cold, farthest from the Sun.
3. Dwarf Planets
Like Pluto.
Too small to be called full planets.
4. Moons
Natural satellites.
Earth has 1, but some planets have many.
5. Asteroids
Rocky objects, mostly in the Asteroid Belt between Mars and Jupiter.
6. Comets
Made of ice and dust.
Have tails when near the Sun.
Note from me
So what I learned about solar system is that there are 8 planets, which including one is our home planet, Earth. So, there are a lot of other things like comets, asteroids, moons, satellites, and dwarf planets, and planets and one big star at the center.

What happe s if there is no sun? When did Pluto become a dwarf planet?
Where do asteroides come from? Which is the hottest planet? And why is it hot and not cold?
Which is the cold est planet? And why is it cold?
