Boredom happens when our brain isn't engaged in anything stimulating or challenging. It’s that feeling when you’re not mentally occupied, and things feel dull or repetitive. It could be because we don’t have a purpose or interest in what’s happening around us. Our brains crave novelty, variety, and engagement, so when we’re not getting that, boredom kicks in.
