Equilibrium
Equilibrium is the point where the amount of reactants is equal to the amount of product
Equilibrium Example -: O2 + 2N = 2NO
When the rate of the forward reaction equals the rate of the backward reaction.
Dynamic Equilibrium
Both the forward and backward reactions continue to occur at the same rate.
The concentrations of reactants and products remain constant
Equilibrium And Disequilibrium
When there is a left shift, it is in the favor of reactants
When it is a right shift, it is in the favor of products
Concentration: Adding more reactant shifts it right; more product shifts it left.
Le Chatelier Principle
If a change is made to a system at equilibrium, the system adjusts to counteract that change and restore equilibrium.
